The best movers we ever had!!. All three movers were hard workers. They were all so polite and moved things where we asked them to move. Plus, they were quick! I ended up paying less than my estimate!! I would definitely hire them again!!

These guys were great! Showed up (early!) and took away all that I asked in a short amount of time, carefully and efficiently. Very pleasant. I will definitely call you again!

My niece and sister were the ones on hand when Dane and Dan did their move. They were very happy with how everything went. They mentioned that these young men seemed to have brilliant spacial insight and mathematical precision in fitting everything into a small storage unit like a jigsaw puzzle. I am going to forward this survey to them, so that they can give a personal account.

Have used College H.U.N.K.S. a number of time in the last five years. This last time (19/08/21) was, as were the other times great. Showed up on time, were very courteous and speedy and price was very reasonable.

TL;DR: Fast, efficient, painless full service junk removal with transparent, fair pricing.College Hunks Hauling Junk is a big name, but operations are handled by a local franchise, and this North County team is ready to work!Scheduling was fast and flexible, I filled out most of the info online and stopped when I couldn't settle on an appointment time, but the scheduling team gave me a call using the information I had already provided via the online form to fill in the missing pieces and get me set up. They gave me an idea of how open the schedule was looking on upcoming days so that I could pick a time, confident in my ability to reschedule if necessary. I called on a Wednesday and my job was done that Friday, and they even offered to move me to an opening Thursday.After the job was scheduled, I got a follow-up call from AJ who I assume was now calling from the local franchise, to go over some of the details of the job and explain how the process worked and how pricing worked. He gave a few price points over the phone, and a broad estimate of where it sounded like my job would land, but made it clear that when the crew arrived on site, they would do an on-site estimate first with no obligations, and that's exactly how it went down.When the crew showed up, Nick introduced himself and his partner Clint (who is also the franchise owner) and we did a quick walkthrough, pointing out the items to be removed. Based on that, he pulled out a pricing sheet that clearly shows everything based on how much of the truck is filled so I understood exactly how the work would be priced, I approved and they got to work. This work was professional, fast, efficient, clean and thorough. They filled a little over 3/4 of their truck and the whole job start to finish was under an hour. We did another walkthrough at the end to confirm they got everything, and I was able to pay with a credit card right there via a Square reader and tip in the app.I'm still working from home due to COVID, and aside from taking 5 minutes at the start to point everything out and 5 minutes at the end to confirm the job and pay, they took care of everything without any further input so I was able to keep working while they worked.Yes, full service junk removal is more expensive than renting a dumpster and filling it yourself, but it's surprisingly not that much more, and you don't have to fill it yourself! I am definitely calling them back when I declutter my garage and have more junk to haul.
