I have mixed feelings about the move. Damon was excellent. Always moving and thinking. I had a POD and wanted CH to move my heaviest pieces into it. I had a space use plan for the POD that would allow me to fit everything I needed. Damon decided to ignore my plan. I was confident in him, so focused on cleaning my apartment as he filled the POD.I paid for two movers at an hourly rate. What I got was one mover and an apprentice (that should have been at a reduced rate). The apprentice did a lot of waiting while Damon moved things and packed the elevator and the POD. The apprentice could have been moving smaller pieces down stairs. When he was done, I asked Damon if there was space for some of the items that remained and he said no. I trusted this.I should have checked.Because he didnt follow my plan, there was lots of air space (2 feet at the top and gaps between furniture) - lots that couldnt be accessed. Ultimately, I, a 54 year-old, managed to pack an 8 by 10 rug, kitchen cabinet, end table and two patio pieces, sofa pillows and multiple other odds and ends in the POD. These are things the apprentice could have moved And packed in the empty air space (it seemed i was not paying hourly, but only for items I predicted I would need help with). Damon was one of the most articulate and trustworthy movers Ive ever had (Ive moved at least 6 times) and I would use him to empty the POD, but ultimately he did at least 75% of the work, I was left in a bind and had to call for help toMove items that did not fit, and though I am a former educator and believe in training, I dont believe it in on my dime when the stakes are high and the out come is more work for me.I used college hunks again to unpack my POD on 9/18/2020. I had three movers - two leads and a support. They were fantastic. They were careful, communicative and hustled. The supports strength seemed to be moving simple or multiple light to mid-weight things quickly, so one of the leads took advantage of that and made stacks for him and provided him constant direction. They had the POD emptied in under two hours and 95% of my things landed exactly where they belonged. Thanks to captain Tim and his team.

Kevin and Kyle were right on time, even a bit early which I appreciated. They had to move some heavy and bulky items, and the furniture which was to be donated did not have a scratch on it. All of this was done quickly and efficiently and with a big smile. I cannot say enough good things about College Hunks and have already recommended them to others. Thank you, Kevin and Kyle!

I had never made a big move in all my 80 years and was surprised at how easy quick and affordable the Hunks made it. Sorry I don't remember their names but they were quick and efficient and friendly.

Phil and Gabbie were terrific and took care with my belongings. Gabbie is deceptively tiny but she is MIGHTY! A BEAST!!!! I was a little surprised by the final costs but this team earned their pay!
