How College Hunks is Addressing the Coronavirus Pandemic

College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving Addresses the Coronavirus Pandemic

As issues related to COVID-19 emerge, College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving is connecting regularly with its family of franchisees, employees, and others to provide support and perspective.

The leading stress-free junk removal and moving franchiser has implemented several initiatives to assist customers and its franchisees during these challenging times. The company has adjusted its business model to limit the spread of the virus in several ways, including offering curbside junk removal and phone payment for services. Extra support is also being offered to franchisees from home/virtual settings and includes the services of its Sales Loyalty Center (call center).

College HUNKS’ Brand Central office continues to provide full support, including onboarding, pre-training, and ongoing training to its newest franchisees so that they can use the current time to complete these processes and be ready to launch as soon as possible. Addressing the company’s new franchisees, founder of College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving, Omar Soliman, noted: “From our perspective, while the world is at a standstill, this is a great opportunity to knock out all the pre-training. By the time the pre-training is complete and you’re ready to launch, several weeks will have gone by and we believe that the worst will be behind us and we’ll be poised to jump into our busiest season, which could potentially be busier than previous years.”

The expectation that the coming summer and fall months could be the busiest yet for College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving is due to pent up demand for services. Many people who normally wouldn’t be at home are now forced to be there. They will be doing the little things that they don’t typically have time to do - like going through their attics and garages, putting aside things that they’ll want to get rid of or donate. This means increased business for the company. Also, families that put off moving temporarily will be anxious to get on with their lives, which means this summer/fall has the potential to be even busier than ever for moving services, Soliman said.

Just last week, College HUNKS added three new franchisees! Listed within the top three percent of all franchise opportunities in the country, College HUNKS is rapidly building its national presence in the stress-free junk removal and moving space.

“No other company in the local moving/junk removal space has the leadership, the teams or the resources to come out of the other end of crisis with more market share than we had when we entered this time of uncertainty. We will continue to set the pace for our industry and for franchising,” Soliman said. “We started in 2008, the beginning of five really challenging years of recession and rose to be the leader in our industry. Our team has the resources and bandwidth to provide support for our franchisees, employees, and customers. Helping them is our top priority – in difficult times and beyond.”
