Express Service gives flexibility

Now a customer can visit the website and schedule an “express pick-up,” which means that a College Hunks Hauling Junk truck will come by their home or office and get that single item. (Currently the service is only available via online booking, not through the Sales and Loyalty Center.)

“The pick-up time is indeterminate — it’s whenever a team is coming through an area — so they have to have the item out by the street,” Steven explains. “The pricing for the express service reflects the lower level of service we need to provide it, so everybody wins. The franchise owner gets business he or she would previously have to turn down, as well as an opportunity to interface with a new customer who might need other services. The customer gets to easily and efficiently offload something that’s taking up space in their home or office.”

The Express Service is something franchise owners have long requested, Steven adds, pointing out that a major plus to being a College Hunks Hauling Junk owner is ongoing interaction with the corporate team.
