The Process of Becoming a Moving Franchise Owner
Our World-Class Discovery Process is designed to provide a clear, balanced view of our world and give us an opportunity to know you as well. Our goal is to provide a wealth of information to ensure that you’re able to make a good, informed decision without feeling pressure at any point.
1. Fill Out an Application
After an initial introductory call and you tell us that you’re interested in learning more, you’ll be asked to fill out a quick, 5-minute application. It’s not a contract of any kind — it simply allows us to do our due diligence to protect our existing franchise partners and our brand by ensuring you’d be an excellent addition to our franchise family. Once we receive the application, we’ll provide you with our free, 15-page franchise report that provides additional details outlining what makes our franchise opportunity truly exceptional.
2. Discovery Day
You’ll then be invited to a Discovery Day at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida, where you’ll get to meet the management team, ask more questions, and eat great Cuban food in the historic Latin district we call home. Our Discovery Day is beneficial for both parties: You’ll have the opportunity to get a clean and balanced view of our world and what the day-to-day responsibilities entail, and we will be able to get to know you and provide you with the information you need to make a solid, informed, and pressure-free decision.
3. Franchise Agreement
If all goes well, we’ll offer you a franchise agreement to review. You’ll need to wait two weeks to sign it, which should give you plenty of time to review it with an adviser.
4. Pre-Opening Checklist
Once you sign an agreement, you will receive a pre-opening checklist that is designed to help you hit the ground running in your new business. You will also receive access to training portals, so you can familiarize yourself with our systems before your on-site training session in Tampa. Our franchise support team will work with you to order trucks, obtain insurance, and get any licensing that is required in your area.
5. Training & Preparation
On-site training in Tampa lasts five days and includes a detailed oversight of the systems you will use to manage and grow your business. Once your business is ready to open, expect a visit at your location to assist you. From that point forward, you will receive the ongoing support that has helped our franchise partners continue to grow!
6. Beyond Moving & Junk Removal
Our moving and junk removal franchise currently has over 100 locations nationwide, and we pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for anyone going through a transition in their life. In addition to our moving and junk removal services, we offer smaller revenue pockets with our sub-categories, including packing and unpacking, donation pickups, and even hourly labor services. These options allow you to offer an extensive list of services for your customers, helping ensure they come back in the future.
