college hunks sponsors Broward Public Library Foundation's annual Literary Feast

College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving – Ft. Lauderdale was proud to be the Logistics Sponsor of the 2017 iteration of Broward Public Library Foundation’s Annual Literary Feast. The Literary Feast involved a series of events including LitLUNCH!, Novel Day for Students, and LitLIVE!, culminating with its signature fundraising event, A Night of Literary Feasts.

This year’s A Night of Literary Feasts was held on Saturday, April 1st. It began with a Welcome Reception for more than 450 guests at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale and included cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, book sales and signings, and an outstanding silent auction. The evening concluded at a series of hosted dinners in private homes and upscale restaurants throughout Ft. Lauderdale. The event featured 17 nationally known authors, including mega best-selling romance writer Debbie Macomber, mystery writers Andrew Gross and Sophie Hannah, Linda Fairstein, Dr. James Hambin, and Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Olen Butler.

Now in its 29th year, Literary Feast continues to attract the Foundation’s most loyal supporters, including affluent individuals and businesses who are committed to increasing literacy in Broward County. This vital community event has raised more than $3,000,000 since 1988 with the mission of supporting Broward County Library literacy programs and services that enrich the entire community.
