Franchisee Spotlight: Dan Tereshko
Dan Tereshko is the owner of our Boston South franchise. The location opened in February of 2014 and has flourished ever since.
Dan possesses a never-ending drive for success. He was named the “Rookie of the Year” due to the success he showed in his first year of ownership. He served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years and is now on the Board of Directors for the Veterans Business Owners Association, a non-profit organization that helps veterans start their own businesses.
Dan and his team at College Hunks Hauling Junk in Boston South strive to Move The World. They do this by volunteering at The Centre Street Food Pantry. Every month, 65 families come to the center to pick up groceries. The College Hunks Team team picks up the food from the Greater Boston Food Bank in downtown Boston and move it to the pantry in Newton, MA. The team loads and unloads all 3,000 pounds of food. Some of this food includes:
- Ground turkey and beef
- Fresh produce
- Canned goods
The team began this journey over the summer and is thrilled to continue this partnership. Through this partnership, the Boston South H.U.N.K.S. learn the importance of giving back to their community and helping others.
