College Hunks CEO Throws Out Ceremonial First Pitch

On Saturday September 12th, College Hunks Hauling Junk CEO Omar Soliman threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays game. The Rays took on the Boston Red Sox in a pivotal AL East match-up which ended up being a historic night for both the Red Sox and The College Hunks.

Throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game is a longstanding tradition, dating all the way back to 1910 when President Taft threw the first pitch in Washington D.C. Its an honor to throw out the first pitch as not just anyone can do it. Many presidents and celebrities have thrown out ceremonial first pitches, and you can now add College Hunks Hauling Junk CEO Omar Soliman to that list.

Many of the College Hunks employees were in attendance to cheer on Omar as he became the first College Hunks employee to throw out a first pitch.

Red Sox slugger David "Big Papi " Ortiz also had a historic night, as he clobbered two home runs taking his career total to the 500 plateau. He is now only the 27th player in history to have joined the 500 HR club.

Congratulations Omar and "Big Papi " on the historic night!
