College Hunks BucksMont, PA Grand Opening
After spending 30 years in leadership roles in various manufacturing environments including capital equipment assembly and medical device machining, in both startup operations and large corporations, Losco becomes the most recent College Hunks Hauling Junk Franchise partner.
College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, the innovative national junk removal and moving company, recently signed a franchise deal with Telford resident Cos Losco. Losco plans to leverage the company’s creative marketing strategy to offer junk removal services in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. “This ride is going to be fun. I’m excited to share this journey with my wife, who will help me run the business as my right hand “hunkette”. We have a 13 year old son and an 11 year old daughter and we are looking forward to teaching them about business ownership, hard work, and to show them that work can also be fun!” Losco states. The franchise will strive to become known as the best junk removal company in the BucksMont area.
The company removes anything from commercial and residential properties such as furniture, appliances, yard waste, and remodeling debris, taking them to donation centers or transfer stations to be recycled and/or disposed of. They can also supply commercial and residential moving labor, including packing and unpacking and loading/unloading moving trucks.
The company will recruit employees at area college campuses, including Delaware Valley College, Arcadia University, Temple Ambler and Penn State Abington to provide customers with clean-cut and friendly teams, “creating a company culture that is not typical for a trash removal business,” says Losco. “It feels right! The passion, structure and support that the corporate team and other franchisees give you just provides added confidence that we will hit our goals and have fun doing it”. Losco attended training March 16-22 in Tampa, FL.
ABOUT COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK and MOVING
The COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK and MOVING concept started when a couple college buddies began hauling junk using their mom’s cargo van. The company has since transformed from a temporary summer gig into a million-dollar enterprise. Over 60% of the jobs are residential, and many of the customers are women desperately battling packrat husbands, which is no coincidence this “Junk Hunk” brand is so popular. Clients can book their junk removal appointments online as well as vote for the “Hunk of the Semester” in the company’s “Hunk ‘Haul’ of Fame.” A portion of company revenue is donated to college scholarship programs.
