College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving® is proud to be more than just a junk removal and moving company. We care about our customers and the community we serve. Doing our part to make the world a slightly better place is very important to us. As a junk removal company, we have an opportunity to give back through donations and recycling.
We firmly believe that one person’s trash is indeed another person’s treasure and some of the things you may consider junk others may find helpful. That’s why we will always donate if we can, any items we remove from your home. If we are unable to do so, we will either recycle or dispose of it in an eco-friendly manner. We are proud that up to 70% of the items we remove from our clients' homes are recycled and all of the items are disposed of in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
Domestic Violence Program
After seeing news reports about the uptick in domestic violence because of the pandemic lockdowns, in April 2020, College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving announced an initiative to help domestic violence survivors move at no cost. Within weeks—and through coordination with shelters and social workers—we assisted nearly 50 survivors in leaving dangerous situations. By the end of 2020, more than 100 survivors were able to move through our program.
College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving was so inspired by the people we helped during the pandemic that we continue this mission to be a “champion of domestic violence survivors.” College HUNKS continues to work with local shelters to provide discounted services to domestic violence survivors in need through our Safe Moves. Strong Voices campaign will provide free moves during Domestic Violence Awareness month and swift-moving assistance to those in need throughout the year.
Community Donations
College HUNKS is committed to giving your items a second life through donations that support people in need. We work to donate gently pre-loved items to the community donations center in each of the areas that we serve. We donate to nationally known charities as well a locally operated charities that directly benefit each community. Each year, we strive to exceed our donation amounts from the previous year as part of our commitment to giving back to the communities we proudly serve.
From packing and unpacking to loading and unloading, our fee-based donation services guarantee peace of mind, knowing you’re making a difference in your local community. When you call us for donation pickup, for a small fee, we’ll take care of all the heavy lifting so you never have to lift a finger.

U.S. Hunger
College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving is a proud partner of U.S. Hunger (previously known as Feeding Children Everywhere). College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving believes that food meets a fundamental need, and meeting that need leads to restoration of families. For every moving or junk removal service we complete, we'll provide a hungry child with two nutritious meals.
Recently we celebrated our 4 millionth meal donated to this important cause.
