My name is Dan Ryan and I graduated from Wayne State University with a B.A. in Communications. A few years ago I was living in New York City as a sports television producer however, I knew that Michigan was my home. The two biggest things I missed most in life were back there. Friends and Family. After living in NYC for over a year I moved back home looking for a job. After months of dead ends I spoke to my first cousin, Nick Friedman the President of College Hunks Hauling Junk and wanted to know more about his company. Right away I fell in love with how they recycle over 60% plus all the different ways College Hunks Hauling Junk can give back to the community. The rest is history, and I can now take pride in calling myself a proud business owner but even more proud that now I can consider myself a hunk.
Patrick Lipa
Hi, my name is Patrick Lipa and I too graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelors in Marketing. Since graduating I have had a couple of jobs, one with a design company and another with a property management firm. In the mean time I was looking for something new and this opportunity arose. Dan and I grew up together playing hockey and attending Notre Dame High School. After college Dan and I went our separate ways but still remained in touch. He sent me an email with this business opportunity, I was intrigued from the start. From its catchy name to its unique marketing approach and the commitment to the community, I thought it was a winner. Since opening our franchise we have hit the ground running and haven’t looked back.
