The Origins of College Hunks Hauling Junk
On a hot summer day in 2003, a group of college buddies borrowed a beat up cargo van and dubbed themselves College Hunks Hauling Junk®.
People in the neighborhood would call the "College Hunks" for anything that involved strong backs and a truck. Word quickly spread about a group of friendly, intelligent college students that could help move, donate, recycle and dispose of people's items. By 2005, the company became operational and a business was born.
In 2007, College Hunks began franchising and, as a result, took off across the U.S.

College Hunks Hauling Junk is a household brand name. With over 60 locations in 24 states, our clients include: The Federal Government, Fortune 500 companies and over 70,000 homeowners.
